HomeWatch Services
HomeWatch Basic Services Optional Services Your home is probably the single most valuable investment or asset you possess. If you have left your home for extended periods of time, you already know that it is very difficult to have a hard earned and valued property sit idle without thinking "what if..." Some homeowners ask a friend or neighbor to check on their home during their absence. Perhaps you do, and for some this is an acceptable method. But it's important to keep in mind that your neighbor, while diligent and well meaning, likely does not have the training to find a hidden problem, or the expertise to fix it. At Chasse Home Maintenance and Repair, Inc. our HomeWatch service provides detailed inspections of your property, inside and out, at predetermined intervals. We report back to you, in detail, the results of each inspection. If something requires attention, we work with you to correct it quickly. This often limits the extent of the damage, as well as the cost to repair it. Our visits are custom designed with you before you leave, to ensure that your concerns and requirements are met. Please follow the links above for more information on our Basic and Extended Services. HomeTending HomeTending is a an extension of our HomeWatch service for homes and properties that are occupied. It may be used in combination with a HomeWatch plan or by itself. HomeTending is seasonal maintenance for those home owners who don't have the time, resources or desire to worry about the upkeep of their home. We tend to the needs of your home based on your individual needs. The following is a brief list of examples of HomeTending services. Outside of house: ¨ Walk around the outside of house and around the property and check for problems ¨ Gutters, downspouts – damage, clogged ¨ Foundation – cracks, insects ¨ Exterior of house – siding, shutters ¨ Yard – condition of walkways, general appearance ¨ Doors, windows and sills – check for rot or insects ¨ Driveway – check for cracks, stains ¨ Fence – check for damage, rot Inside of house: ¨ Full walk-through of house, all levels all rooms, including accessible closets, attic and basement ¨ Look at floors, ceilings, walls and check for water damage, insects or pests, and general damage or disrepair ¨ Appliances - check functionality: refrigerator/freezer; Garbage disposal; Dishwasher; Stove; Window A/C units; ¨ Doors – check locks, check weather stripping, ensure that all doors open and close freely. ¨ Windows – check locks, screens for damage, insects ¨ Alarm – check on/off functionality ¨ Flush each toilet ¨ Turn on/off each faucet ¨ Check for Hot water ¨ Look for signs of pest or insect infestation. ¨ Check house/zone temperature ¨ Visual inspection of heating and/or A/C unit and hot water heater for obvious problems.
